Download and set up GO to hail a taxi from your smartphone.
*SMS authentication is required to sign up with the GO app.
*Please sign up with the GO app from inside Japan (after you arrive).

Download the official GO app, open it and begin the setup process.

Enter Your Information

Enter Your Information

Enter your name, gender and birth date, then tap "Sign Up."

Add a Payment Method

Add a Payment Method

Add a credit card, d-Barai or other payment method to save yourself from having to deal with paying your fare when you arrive at your destination.

Setup is finished. You can now hail a taxi with the GO app.

  • Coupons will not be granted to those who have already registered for the app in the past.
  • To use coupons, you must set up GO Pay and select the coupon you wish to use.

  • The coupon has an expiration date. Check the date after signing up and be sure to use it before it expires.
  • May not be used with GO Tickets.

STEP2Add a GO Ticket to the GO Taxi App

Adding a GO Ticket code allows you to select it as a payment method.

Select a payment method to cover the difference if your taxi fare exceeds the maximum value of the GO Ticket.

Having set the payment method, you can now verify it has been changed to "GO Ticket."

Terms of Use

  • Please use the latest version of the GO app.
  • Only one ticket code can be selected and used per ride.
  • When the fare exceeds the ticket code's face value, the difference will be charged to the credit card registered in the GO app (GO Pay).
  • When the fare is less than the ticket code's face value, change will not be given for the difference.
    *This difference cannot be carried over to another ride.
  • When the ticket code's face value is less than the GO app usage fee, you will not be able to hail a taxi.

  • GO Tickets have expiration dates.
  • A selected ticket code cannot be changed or cancelled after using the service.
  • Ticket codes cannot be used with other coupon codes or paper taxi tickets.
  • Ticket codes will not be refunded for any reason.
  • Ticket codes may not be transferred for compensation, exchanged for money or disposed of in any other manner.
  • Ticket codes will not be reissued regardless of reason, including loss, theft or unauthorized use.
  • Ticket codes may not be reproduced or resold regardless of reason or method.
